Setting up your Phone (Zyxel Router)

This article guides you through setting up telephony on your Zyxel AX7501 router.

How to proceed

Try option 1 first – if it doesn't work, use option 2 or 3.

1Option 1 – Hostname

Enter http://myrouter.local in your browser.
Username: (blank) · Password: 1234

2Option 2 – IP address without username

Enter 192.168.1.1 in your browser.
Username: (blank) · Password: 1234

3Option 3 – IP address with username

Enter 192.168.1.1 in your browser.
Username: admin · Password: 1234

4VoIP credentials

You received your credentials by e-mail. You can also find them in your customer account at my.teleboy.ch → "My Services" → "Landline" → "Setup".

⚠ Important
The Zyxel AX7501 does not have a DECT function and cannot be connected to a DECT phone (e.g. FRITZ!Fon).
