Why can't I see a QR code on my invoice yet?

You want to pay your invoice, but you can't see a QR code in your customer cockpit yet? This is usually because our monthly billing run hasn't finished yet. Here you can find out how the billing run works and when you can pay your invoice.

Short answer: the monthly billing run takes about 4 days. During this time, your invoice is shown as being prepared in your customer cockpit and the QR code is not available yet. As soon as the billing run is complete, you can download and pay your invoice.

How the billing run works

1Day 1: debit from your stored payment method

If you have stored TWINT, a credit card or PostFinance as your payment method, the invoice amount is debited.

2Day 2: invoice in eBill

If you use eBill, you receive the invoice directly in your e-banking.

3Day 3 to 4: invoice by e-mail with QR code

If the amount could not be debited, for example due to a technical error, insufficient funds on your card or account or an expired payment method, you receive the invoice by e-mail as a PDF with a QR code.

ℹ Invoice being prepared

During the billing run, your invoice is shown as being prepared in your customer cockpit (status shown as «wird bereitgestellt»). In this status you cannot download the invoice and QR code or pay the invoice yet. So if you can't see a QR code yet, the billing run is still in progress. Your invoice will be available within the next few days.

⚠ The debit didn't work?

We do not try to debit the amount a second time. Please pay the invoice with the QR code as soon as it is fully visible in your customer cockpit. Tip: update your payment method under Manage payment methods so that future invoices are debited automatically again.
