Starting up the router before activation

Can I start using my router before activation?

No – the router can only be put into operation once our line has been activated. Before that, the connection will not work technically – even if you have already received the modem.

ℹ Note
If you'd like to bring forward the activation date, feel free to contact our support. Please note: for a fibre line, the activation lead time is 10–14 days. A change within this period may delay the activation further.

1Wait for activation

As soon as the line is activated, you will receive a notification. You can then connect and use the router as described in our guide.

2Set up the router
