Teleboy app cut off on TV – disable overscan
On older HD-Ready televisions (720p), the edges of the Teleboy app may be cut off – for example the main menu on the left. The cause is an active overscan setting on the television itself. The problem can be fixed directly in your TV's picture settings.
The solution: Disable overscan in your television's picture settings – not in the settings of your streaming box.
⚠ Important
This setting must be made on the television itself – not on the streaming box (e.g. Google TV, Apple TV, Fire TV). Changing the box resolution or the TV picture format (16:9/Zoom) will not fix the problem.
How to proceed
1Pick up the remote and open the TV menu
Press the «Settings», «Menu» or «Home» button on your TV remote – depending on the manufacturer. You need to open the television's own settings, not those of the connected streaming box.
2Open the «Picture» or «Display» section
Navigate to the «Picture», «Display» or «Picture Settings» section. The exact name may vary slightly by manufacturer (e.g. «Picture», «Display Settings» or «Picture Mode»).
3Open the picture size or format subcategory
Look within the picture settings for a subcategory such as «Picture Format», «Picture Size», «Screen Size» or «Zoom/Position». Open it.
4Disable overscan
Look for an option called «Overscan», «Autoscan», «Just Scan», «Direct» or «Pixel-to-Pixel». Disable overscan (set to «Off») or enable «Just Scan» / «Pixel-to-Pixel» – depending on the wording on your TV.
5Save the setting and check the Teleboy app
Confirm the setting, then open the Teleboy app. The picture should now be fully displayed with no cut-off edges.

The exact name of the setting varies by TV manufacturer: it is often called «Overscan», «Autoscan», «Picture Size», «Picture Format», «Just Scan», «Direct» or «Pixel-to-Pixel». Check your TV's manual if needed.

The edges of the Teleboy app should now be fully visible and navigation should work perfectly.
