Since when has there been Replay advertising?

Replay advertising has existed in Switzerland since October 2022. It is based on the industry agreement GT12, which applies to all TV providers – not just Teleboy.

Which channels show Replay advertising?

• Private GT12 channels such as RTL, ProSiebenSat.1 and CH Media (e.g. 3+, 4+, 5+, TV24): since October 2022.
• SRG channels (SRF, RTS, RSI): since 30 March 2026.

Good to know

ARD, ZDF and ORF do not show Replay advertising.

What does this mean for you?

• Replay advertising is shown in a compressed form: short spots at the start (Start-Ad), ad images when pausing (Pause-Ad) and short blocks when fast-forwarding (Fast-Forward-Ad).
• Manual fast-forwarding through long ad breaks is no longer necessary.
• Replay advertising applies to all paid TV subscriptions. Teleboy Free does not include Replay – so there is no Replay advertising there either.
