How do I set up my FritzBox ?

Instructions for setting up your FRITZ!Box are available at teleboy.ch/setup.

⚠ Important
This article applies if the red info LED is permanently lit after activation or the automatic configuration did not work.

How to proceed

1Connect to the FRITZ!Box

Connect your computer to the FRITZ!Box via LAN cable (yellow) or WLAN.

2Open the user interface

Enter http://fritz.box/ in your browser and log in with the password on the bottom of the box (FRITZ!Box password – not the WPA2 network key).

3Set up access data

Select the tab 'Internet' → 'Access Data' and configure the following settings:

• Internet provider: Other Internet provider
• Name: leave blank
• Internet access via: Fiber (glass fiber)
• Access data: Select 'No'

ℹ Note
If the options 'Yes' and 'No' are not displayed, change the view to 'Extended' or 'Standard' at the top or bottom of the screen.

4VLAN settings

Enable 'Use VLAN for Internet access' and enter VLAN ID 10.

5Save and test

Click on 'Apply' and wait for the connection check to complete.

✓ Done!
If the info LED lights up green continuously, the connection has been successfully established.
