What are premium services / value-added services?

Premium services are value-added services or chargeable numbers and short numbers such as 084x or 090x. These can be calls or text messages that provide you with specific information or entertainment services – for example, weather reports, traffic information, a talking clock, games or adult entertainment.

Prices are set by the respective service provider and are activated by default.

Some services renew automatically, which can result in very high costs.
