End of MMS Service
From March 17, 2024, the MMS service from Teleboy will no longer be available as Sunrise, the network provider on which our subscriptions run, has decided to discontinue this service.

What are the reasons for shutting down the MMS service?
With the spread of smartphones and messenger apps, the use of MMS has steadily declined. Given the many available alternatives, Sunrise has decided to discontinue the MMS service.
What alternatives are there for sending pictures and videos?
Nowadays, photos, videos, and audio messages are mostly sent via messenger apps. The most popular services in Switzerland, which you can download from the Apple Store or Google Play Store, include:
- Threema
- Signal
- Telegram
Alternatively, you can use iMessage for exchanges between Apple devices or Message+ for Android devices.
Can I still send SMS?
The discontinuation of the MMS service does not affect the SMS function. SMS remains a viable option for sending text messages.
