My App or Chromecast crashes regularly

If the Teleboy app or Chromecast crashes regularly, it's often due to an outdated Google Play Store. This frequently happens on devices where Google Play was not pre-installed and had to be downloaded from the Amazon Store or Samsung Store.

How to proceed

1Update the Google Play Store

Open the Google Play Store and update it manually. If Google Play is outdated, all apps installed from it — including Teleboy — may become unstable.

2Enable auto-update

Enable automatic updates in the Google Play settings so that future updates are installed automatically.
