Teleboy Android TV – Beta Version (May 2025)

We're happy you'd like to take part in the Teleboy TV beta test for the Android TV app. This article covers the most important information about participation.

How to join the beta test

1Go to the beta programme page

Visit play.google.com/apps/testing/ch.teleboy.androidtv and log in with the same Google account you use on your Android TV.

2Become a tester

Click "Become a tester". You will receive a confirmation: "You are now a tester".

3Update the app

You can now directly update or reinstall the app from the Google Play Store. Note: it may take a few hours after registration for the update to appear.

How to leave the beta programme

If you want to switch back to the regular version:

Go to play.google.com/apps/testing/ch.teleboy.androidtv and click "Leave the program".
Uninstall the Teleboy app from your device.
Reinstall the app from the Google Play Store.

Update not showing?

If the update is not available immediately: check you are logged in with the correct Google account, try clearing the Play Store cache, and restart your device. It may take up to 24 hours for Google to make the beta version available.

ℹ Important for beta testers

Beta versions may contain bugs. Please report any issues directly via support@teleboy.ch or through our contact form. You can return to the stable version at any time.
