Is the new skip ad function worth it for me?

This is likely to be very individual. Those who mainly watch public channels (SRF, ARD, ZDF, ORF, etc.) or international channels outside Switzerland and Germany will probably rarely or never come into contact with the new replay advertisements. Those who often watch recordings or make downloads will not either. For those who mainly consume the various private channels of the RTL Group, ProSiebenSat.1 Media and CH Media (3+,4+,5+, TV24 etc.) and often use the pause or rewind function in replay programmes, the additional option may well be useful. Finally: The "Skip-Ad" function offers a decisive advantage compared to the past: now you can skip the conventional advertising in replay programmes with just one click and end up in the right place again, exactly to the second, to continue the programme.
