Does Teleboy offer an eSIM or a SIM card for the Apple Watch?
Currently, Teleboy does not offer an eSIM or a special SIM card for the Apple Watch. Our mobile subscriptions currently only include physical SIM cards for smartphones.
Difference between eSIM and a SIM card for the Apple Watch
eSIM
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a SIM card that is built into a device and can be activated via software. It works like a physical SIM, but allows you to change mobile service providers without the physical card. eSIMs are used in many current smartphones and smartwatches, including the Apple Watch.
SIM card for the Apple Watch
The Apple Watch requires a special eSIM solution called a multi-SIM or companion SIM.
This SIM shares the phone number and data volume with the smartphone, so that both devices can run synchronously on the same mobile network. In practice, this means that the Apple Watch can use calls, messages and data connections independently of the iPhone, provided the mobile provider supports this function.
Unfortunately, Teleboy does not currently support this type of eSIM for the Apple Watch.
